User Interface design for a 3.5” screen, Portable Media Player (PMP) integrating audio, video, image slideshow and radio playing capabilities. Portable Media Players boasted of additional functionality over simple MP3 players by supporting various multimedia formats.
The interface was designed to provide visual cues about the current mode and the status incorporating various levels of information in a hierarchical manner. The PMP, manufactured by the second largest (OEM) manufacturer of MP3 players in China, was sold throughout Europe and the U.S.
User Interface design for some of the applications as part of the Project and Portfolio Management suite of applications.
The Project and Portfolio Management Application was a broad based set of utilities, providing institutions various tools to manage: Human Resources, Finances, Timesheet logging and billing and documentation in the form of Knowledge Management.
Information Architecture (IA) and User Interface (UI) design for a Traders' Portal for Investment Managers and Bank Employees. The Traders' Portal, a Web 2.0 online application, makes use of widgets and modular panels to display information. The application, entirely built on xHTML, CSS and jQuery is expected to run as part of bank intranets.
The main challenge was to display a large amount of information, especially tabular and numeric information in limited space. Dashboard views provided an eagle-eye perspective while tables could be drilled down in different ways.

K-Class was conceptualised as a complete technology assisted solution for group-learning environments. It provided not only a resource rich learning environment but also media libraries along with virtual labs for all subjects.
K-Class provided the teachers with an easy-to-use, language-independent environment with access to a vast variety of digital content and resources both online and on the school server. The user-interface enabled users to both easily access the content and also add to the content repository.
K-Content was designed as part of the K-Class suite of applications especially for teachers to custom create their lectures. K-Content provided content placement with drag-and-drop ease and access to the entire K-Class content repository.
K-Content also allowed addition of media such as video, audio and flash animations with just the click of the mouse. With great typography built-in and a huge bank of themes, K-Content takes the steam out of many popular presentation creating tools.
Interaction design and application development for Reserve Bank of India information kiosk at the RBI Monetary Museum, Mumbai.
The information kiosk, designed and developed in Flash and XML introduces over 2000 years of India’s monetary heritage to visitors . It includes Indian coinage from ancient times to the present, a retrospect of Indian paper money, and financial curiosities besides covering various aspects of India’s financial history and indigenous banking instruments (Hundies), early GP Notes, share certificates, etc.
Design and development of a CD ROM, on the Cleaner Production program of UNEP.
The CD featured an exhaustive database of information categorised for various stakeholders in the program such as Government Organisations, Industries, and Financial Institutions etc. The information was presented in a wide variety formats such as videos, animations, info-graphics and presentations. Interactive quizzes and exercises custom-designed for the target audience, made the concepts more palpable and the experience more enjoyable.
A Series of Interactive CDs of creative tools for the very young, with universal, language-independent interfaces, to bring about an understanding of the underlying principles of digital media, and their creative possibilities. Tools for creativity, imagination, innovation and lots of fun! Toolkids allow open-ended creative possibilities, making them ideal for developing the faculties of creativity, imagination and innovation.
